St Mary's Church has stood in the centre of Hadleigh in its present form for over 500 years. The existence of a church in Hadleigh was mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1088.

The church continues to be the centre of Christian worship for the members of the Church of England in the town, and welcomes visitors.

It is normally open as a place of prayer, and for visitors during daylight hours.

We have worshipped at this church sonce 1975.

The church has a support organsation called "Friends of St Marys" which supports the church in the difficult job of raising funds to keep this magnificent building in good repair.
